Catheter Ablation

Catheter Ablation

Catheter ablation is a procedure that uses energy to make small scars in the heart tissue to prevent abnormal electrical signals from moving to the heart. Catheter ablation is used in a condition such as various types of arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats, that cannot be controlled by medicine or if you have a high risk for ventricular fibrillation (v-fib), sudden cardiac arrest, or arterial fibrillation.
