My baby boy just after his birth was discovered with hearing defect. We consulted the best of doctors in Nigeria and they were of the opinion that Cochlear Implant surgery was required. However, either it is costly or proper medical practitioners are not available in our country. Then we started to search for hospitals outside my country for the treatment. The hospitals in US & UK charged a huge amount for the treatment which was not affordable. Then one of my friends told me about India for good hospitals and low cost. The next challenge is a connecting link I searched on the internet and I found Medtravels website. I filled up the query form on the website and I got a call from the patient query team and she told me to send the medical reports. I sent the reports by mail and the team got back to me with the opinion of doctors and treatment packages from multiple hospitals. The quote was affordable to me and I was satisfied with the profile of the treating doctors and hospitals.
