Dr. Franklin’s Panchakarma Institute is established in 1997. A pioneer in the arena of global spread of Ayurveda, physician Dr.V.Franklin visualized this institution to its existence. The clinic is directed by the chief consultant physician, who trained as an Ayurvedacharya, Dr.Sony Joseph BAMS and Dr.Soumya Franklin (daughter of Dr.Franklin). AYURVEDA EXPERIENCE: On arrival at the Centre after check-in you will be given a time for the first consultation with the Doctor.
The doctor will give a small introduction to understand the basic principle of Ayurveda and will ask you questions to ascertain your Prakruthi (Type/Constitution) and Vikruthi (Imbalance). Pulse diagnosis is done at the end. Based on the information collected the doctor will decide the plan of treatment. He will also prescribe you some medication if needed and will give you a copy of treatment plan, diet and instruction which you will have to follow throughout the stay. You may also be advised to join the daily Yoga classes (6.30am - 8.00am) it would cost around 5€ for Yoga. For additional individual classes it would cost around 15€ for Yoga, short meditation session is included in daily Yoga sessions. Based on your treatment chart you may get you first treatment the very first day or the next day.
The doctor will meet you every day for a checkup and to keep a track of your progress. On the last day you will be given a final check and will be given instruction to be followed back home and medication if needed. The treatments plans are always decided after the initial consultation with the doctor and can change based on the condition and progress of the patients during the treatments.
